Eyewear You’ll Love to Wear

Our optical is something we’re genuinely proud of. Every frame has been handpicked by our optical manager Foster and optician Believe, who have carefully curated a collection of independent frame lines you won’t find in chain stores.

They will walk you through the whole process, from trying on styles to finding the perfect fit for your face and your day-to-day life. Whether you want something bold or something classic, we are here to help you feel great in your glasses.

Come see what we have to offer. We think you’ll love it.

Mykita was the first frame line to make me interested in independent eyewear. I remember seeing the hinge construction for the first time and it opened my brain to the possible creativity in eyewear design. They are one of the most fashionable and functional companies in the industry. They are notorious globally, which is amazing considering they have only been around since 2003. That may seem like a long time, but many competitors have been honing their brand for one hundred years or more, and Mykita has accomplished all it has in roughly a fourth of that. Each frame is cut and stamped from one sheet of stainless steel less than a millimeter thick and bent into shape, leaving no solder points and a screwless construction. Personally I love their product for the futuristic aesthetic and the ability to somehow make a non-traditional frame shape into something wearable for the average person. They are lightweight and boast soft silicone ear pieces and nosepads for comfort. - Foster

Lindberg is a lightweight eyewear manufacturer in Denmark. The frames have the potential to be so low profile that people often forget they’re wearing them. The level of comfort even in their larger frames is enough to stop people from buying anything else once they've tried it. Something unique about them is that every piece is customizable, allowing for personal engravings and endless color combinations. Each piece has at least 3 separate components that can be made into the color of your choosing, and other attributes that can be added or taken away to truly make the frame your own. Another interesting thing is that the colors are produced through anodization. That process ensures that even if the frame were to be scratched, the metal is the same color throughout the material. My personal affinity for them started because similar to Mykita, they have an amazing hinge design. - Foster

Peter and May is an eyewear line out of France that has very little presence in the U.S. as of now. We are ecstatic to currently be one of five optical shops in the nation to have made a relationship with them. What we love about them is the weight and softness of their acetate, and their rich coloring. They use a five barrel hinge, meaning the connection point is plenty sturdy and reliable. I myself typically lean towards metal frames, which is why when I found Peter and May I was so in love because I finally found an acetate frame line that really spoke to me. Being family owned and operated, it is a great time talking to the team. They have quickly become one of our top sellers and it makes me feel amazing every time someone walks out with a pair. I also aim to pass the exclusivity onto the patient and not immediately reorder a frame/ color combination that I sell. Something they excel at is tweaking European frame shapes into something more generally accepted by the masses while still keeping the essence of who they are. With chunkier thick rim frames, thinner rim big lens styles, and a selection of traditional shapes they have something for everyone. -Foster

Masunaga holds a special place for me because the first luxury frame I bought myself before I worked in the industry was the Masunaga Daily News in the bronze colorway. What amazes me is the comfort the brand is able to achieve. Truly the ergonomic temples rival the comfort of any other high end frame line, and the frames look good on every person that tries them on. The Fukui region in Japan is an eyewear mecca recognized globally, and it wouldn't exist without Masunaga. They were the first frame line to solidify Japan as a force to be reckoned with within the world of high end eyewear. Royal families in Japan would have Masunaga make custom frames out of solid gold. Today, the company is operated by the fourth generation of the Masunaga family, keeping all of the same ideals the brand started with. -Foster
